A collaborative game for up to 6 players aged about 13. The game explores new freedoms and the choices to be taken as a child progresses through adolescence into adulthood. In particular the game reveals how choices taken between 13 and 17 will imapct on the future 25 year old. The boxed game comes with resources to reflect on the character the group has created which can be followed with "About Me Sheets" which turn the individual players attentions on themselves to help them vision and affirm action steps they can take that will help them achieve a happy and succesful future. A game lasts about an 80 minutes and cards can be stacked and stored so that the game can be revisited across two or more sessions.

Caley 1803 Glider

This learning resource replicates Sir George Caley's model glider from 1803. Exact size, but this model uses depron and balsa which were both unavailable in 1803. Comes with history resources that reveal why Caley is viewed as the father of flight. All instructions and parts included exept the glue.

Glider will fly the length of a sports hall when the simple tail which acts as elevator and rudder is correctly trimmed and launched slightly downwards. Throwing and catching this slow moving glider can be run as team challenge.

The build can be broken down into two parts so that a team of 4 students can make and fly one model.

SS Great Britain - Celebrating 50 years since her return to dry dock in Bristol

A metre long model of the SS Great Britain. Made from robust corrugated board and gummed paper tapes the model can be decorated and waterproofed ready for a sailing.

No glue is needed. Age 8 upwards.

The sailing event to celebrate this iconic ship would have normally been part of the Bristol Harbour Festival in July 2020. Due to Covid19 we are waiting until it is safe to do this. Hopefully in September /October.

Joining in with the mass sailing event is not essential. The kit comes with full instructions for waterproofing, ballasting and sailing. If you build the ship we will keep you posted.
